Recommend

Features/Updates

Provide Category Image Url in p13n response.
Summary: Added a site configuration for the category image URL pattern.  If the client sends a link_url in their feed, we use that in favor of this config value. To return any category_image_url users would have to create a layout that has the placeholder $CATEGORY_IMAGE_URL$.

Advanced Merchandising

Dynamic Bundling Personalization
Summary: Allow to sort AM recommendations by personalized strategies

Bug Fixes

Issue: TopSellersInSegments strategy is displaying segmentId instead of segment name as part of the strategy hint
Fix: Corrected so that the stratey is returning the segment name instead of segment Id

Recommend in Email

Issue: There was an error on the mapping of the 'category_ids' parameter that caused empty responses from Recommend API
Fix: The mapping of 'category_ids' was changed to 'chi' (category hint ids).

Find

Features/Updates

Find Category Facets
Summary: Category Facets enables Find enables sites to specify facets that will be inferred when category filters are specified.
Detail: The category id to facet mapping is enabled by including a file named categoryfacets.txt in the zip file of the full catalog feed.
The file will contain multiple lines of JSON. Even though it contains JSON, the file will not be valid JSON, so it will not have .json extension)
Category to facet mapping will not be processed during partial catalog feeds. The category to facets mapping specifies a category id (external category id from the catalog feed) and a list of facets, which are the names of attributes (from the catalog feed). The category to facets mapping can also define global facets (categoryId: categoryfacets-global); facets include for all request. The category to facet mapping file will contain each category to facets mapping in JSON format on a separate line so that the feed can be processed more efficiently.
