Release Summary - April 2020


You can now configure the lookback period in days for both the Top Products and Popular Products models from the Model Options page. The strategies that depend on the these models are also listed with each model.

A new option to sort product recommendations based upon their geographical proximity to the user is now available. With this new feature product recommendations are more useful to the user by considering their geographical location, sorting within a region to recommend the closest available products.


Experience Designer is available for clients. With experience designer you can inject new content or product recommendation placements without updating the site. Placements are inserted on the page, sized and positioned. They can be horizontal or vertical placements. A layout editor is also provided with Experience Designer to enable you to match the look and feel of your current placements. With content placements you can create campaigns, including setting a segment condition and identifying the content for the campaign that will be shown in the placement.

The new Sales report has been updated with a change to the average order size from recs to represent the whole order where at least one product in the order was attributed to product recommendations. It had been incorrectly reporting only the attributable products included in the order. You can now see this on both the home metrics and the Sales report.
