Release Summary - November 2020

Recommend

Two additional models have been added to Configurable Strategies, Top Products and New Arrivals. You can use these models to return products from across the entire site or narrow the models by passing in a category or brand context. You can also configure the strategy with a fixed category or brand context so that strategy always provides the products that match the category or brands specified. Combine these models with sorting by User Affinity and you now personalize the products listed from these models based upon each users' affinities.

In addition, the fixed seed options for category or brand has been updated to allow multiple categories or brands to be specified, where the products returned from the model must match any of the specified categories or any of the brands.

Additionally, support has been added to Configurable Strategies to select a DSW strategy that is a site wide strategy. In this case, you would not set a seed option since it is site wide, but you could add User Affinity as an option to re-rank the products by the user's affinities.

Engage

The following enhancements have been provided for Engage:

  • A campaign name, content id, and content name are returned in the response through both the layout and API. The content name will be returned without the need to include it in the content attribute feed.
  • A new parameter has been added to allow filter out content returned by specifying the blocked content ids. The new "bi" parameter is specified with the personalize API.

Find

The Find Overlay has been updated with multiple accessibility features, including grid and list buttons, a labeled filters area, a close button, and other updates for screen readers.
