Configurable Strategies has been made available to all clients. This feature enables you to create your own strategies through a simple interface. You can view the results of the new strategy as you are selecting options. Multiple models have been enabled along with different options. For example, you could setup a strategy for Electronics Top Sellers with recommendations re-ranked to better match a user's affinities.

As you select options click to View Results at any time to see the product recommendations returned for the selected seed.

An option has been added for clients that use regions, where you no longer have to provide region data for products that span all regions. With this option enabled, product recommendations will no longer filter out products if they are not regionalized. 

Platform

The Cohort report has been updated adding a new metric, units per order. You can see the impact on units per order for those users who engage with product recommendations.

The Strategies report has been updated with two new metrics: RPMi (Revenue Per Mille - Thousand - impressions) and RPC (Revenue per Click). These metrics will help you compare the performance of strategies.

The Engage Content report has also been updated to no longer show campaigns in the campaign filter that have no overlap with the date range specified. 

Additional updates across the Activity Log, Discover, and the Streaming Catalog include the following:

  • The Activity Log has been updated to include activity for Segment Builder and Configurable Strategies. You can see who has created a configurable strategy or updated a segment. 
  • Discover MVT treatments now include custom attributes
  • Scoped Actions have been added to the Streaming Catalog. Scoped Actions enable you to fully replace previous catalog updates where previously data may still be in the catalog and showing up in the portal.
